A Bit About Me

I'm a lifelong die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, an ex-beer league goalie, and I also raced enduro stock cars for 4 years in the mid 1980's, mostly at Sunset Speedway north of Toronto.

I've been alive for 4 of the Leafs 11 (13 if you include the Arenas and St. Patricks) Stanley Cups. In other words, I'm kind of a banged up old guy.🤣 So I'm not as active anymore, but I love watching the Leafs and making YouTube videos. Please visit YouTube.com/@JeffTheLeafsFan to see a bunch of vintage Leafs videos and YouTube Shorts I've made. Plus a variety of other of videos that I've made, including videos about enduro stock car racing.

Clear The Track, Here Comes Shack!

This song rose to number one for two weeks on 1050 CHUM Toronto in 1966. Eddie used to live a few blocks away from me. One day in 2010 while on a walk I saw Eddie outside. I told him I uploaded his song to YouTube, his face lit up, he was so happy. Nobody else had uploaded it yet, and the song was kind of forgotten. After Eddie passed away I went on YouTube and watched a Citytv Breakfast Television interview he once did. They started the show off by playing this very video that I made for his song! Eddie loved this song, and I was so happy I played a part in people hearing it again!

The Symbolic Details in the Leafs Logo Explained

The Toronto Maple Leafs incorporated symbolic details into their current logo which represent significant historical pieces of their history. I explain them in this video.

Sher-Wood 950 S.O.P. Ron Hextall Model Goalie Stick

It was so easy to lob pucks down the ice with this stick back in my beer league days in the 1990's. I made some modifications to the stick for use with the paddle down technique which was so popular back then. Plus I review the pros and cons of the stick.

One of My Races in 1987

I raced Enduro Stock Cars for almost 4 seasons in the 1980's, from the start of the 1985 season to around the middle of the 1988 season, mostly at Sunset Speedway and Varney Speedway (now called Full Throttle Motor Speedway). Both tracks are north of Toronto. My best race was in 1986 when I finished 11th out of 84 cars at Sunset Speedway. The video clip below is from one of my races at Sunset Speedway in 1987. I added the 2013 picture of my head so people know which car is mine.

Wreckfest - Enduro Stock Car Racing

I'm kind of an old guy, and I'm not really into videos games. But a while back somebody said to me that I'm like a real life Wreckfest driver. I had no clue what Wreckfest was, so I thought I would check it out. I tried it, and loved it!!! Now whenever I miss my enduro stock car days I play Wreckfest!!!
